Based on the principles for using traditional materials and handicraft of local workmanship, our Cottage style house plans feature overhanging eaves, a low-slung gabled roof, and wide front porches framed by pedestal-like tapered columns. Materials often include stone, rough-hewn wood, and stucco. Many designs have wide front porches supported by columns.
